Adobe Lightroom is updated with important news

clip_image002

Although Lightroom is more intended for use on an iPad and not on an iPhone, Adobe offers different versions for both platforms. While the iPad Lightroom is in version 2.2.0, the iPhone version is version 3.3.

A few months ago Adobe decided to offer this application completely free ofcharge to all users of Apple devices, which has become one of the best applications to edit all the photos we do with our devices without having to get home and do it in front of your Mac or PC.

Among the developments related to the iPhone version, we find that Lightroom finally supports 3D Touch and Peek & Pop technology . Thanks to the latter function, it is much easier and faster to navigate through the different images we have stored in the application without having to open and close it again to see the next, making us save valuable time.

Another new feature found in this update is that finally the application offers the possibility to save the modified high - resolution photographs . But not only allows us to save on the reel of our device, but also allows us to share through the different extensions that we have in our device.

Adobe Lightroom is one of the most used applications by photographers on its desktop version, allowing us to quickly make timely changes in photographs without having to open Photoshop to modify the values to take, such as brightness, contrast, temperature, saturation, exposure ...

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is available for download completely free on the App Storewithout in-app purchases . If we are users of Adobe Creative Cloud, we can add our data to the application to synchronize the images that we modify our device and access from iPhone to the work we have done since our desktop version.

Samsung does not support Apple in its pulse with the FBI. Anyone surprised?

clip_image002

Since Tim Cook expressed his position defending the privacy of users against FBI requests to unlock the iPhone 5c Terrorist San Bernardino, they have already been more than 40 props that have received Cupertino. These include those of Microsoft, Google, Edward Snowden, Mark Zuckerberg and co-founder of WhatsApp, Jan Koum. But it seems that Samsung will not support Apple's stance , at least not officially or delivering any writing.

As we read in Bloomberg , Samsung itself that you agree with some of the statements from Apple, as the idea that " any request to create a backdoor could undermine consumer confidence ", but did not show support for his enemy intimate, which is none other than the company directed by Tim Cook. But is it something that should surprise us ? I think depend on the terms and criteria of each.

On the one hand, yes that surprises you want to stand out from a group in which themselves are other large technology companies; on the other, knowing how to operate a company that wanted to take the death of Steve Jobs (even mailings that read that "now is the time" when the former CEO of Apple died were sent), it is not surprising that want to attempt to harm the Cupertino.

Ensure confidence in our products and services is our number one priority. Our phones are integrated with encryption that protects privacy and content and not have back doors. [...]

When necessary to do so, within the law, we work with law enforcement. But any request to create a backdoor could undermine customer confidence. [...]

Protecting the privacy of our customers is very important, but we have not decided whether to file a written "amicus" in the current case. I think Samsung should put aside for a moment the rivalry with Apple and simply do the right thing.

What it is kind of funny is when they say they should put aside their rivalry with Apple and do the right thing when they have not done or have it decided . I think, as they say, have to do the right thing is to side with customers because, after all , are the ones who pay them and have put them where they are. If they do not, however much they say, they have sided with the FBI, and we all know that side can only end in the image you finish this article:

Apple will launch a totally wireless Bluetooth EarPods

clip_image002

The latest rumors about the iPhone in July will ensure that no 3.5mm jack port. To listen to music with this supposed new iPhone would require a headset that will use the Lightning connector or Bluetooth were, so everything suggests that include a newEarPods with at least change the 3.5mm connector to the current course Lightning claiming the rumors. In addition, as says Mark Gurman, who has already filtered correctly lot about Apple, the Cupertino company will also launch a totally wireless Bluetooth headset .

Most likely, the accessory comes with the iPhone in July this September, but "together" I mean in time, as these new headphones buy apart if we wished so. They are totally wireless implies not only that are not connected to the iPhone via a cable, otherwise there is not a cable linking the right with the left earphone headset.

These "earphones", as describes Gurman although Apple has registered the trademark "AirPods" and is expected to be the name that will go on sale, would include noise cancellation system , allowing us to hear higher quality both music and phone calls, and communication with Siri would be much more accurate, which currently leaves much to be desired, I says someone who has tried asking Siri you place a disc in particular with some air and had to get the iPhone from its case.

Apple is trying different ways to enlarge or reduce the size headphones for them to engage our ears well, something similar to what other brands have also think it's very necessary. While we have not gotten to ask Siri that I put music accurately while doing sport windy, I have also seen how the current EarPods have gotten me out, and that use a silicone covering headphones. This becomes much more important when you consider that the new headsets are totally independent.

At present it is impossible to know at what price come these AirPods, but considering that the Wireless Powerbeats2 are priced at € 199.95, we think that will have a similar price. Noise-canceling without any cables, a lower price on a product Apple surprised us.

Carl Zeiss integrated display in normal eyeglasses

clip_image002

At the CES show Carl Zeiss glasses, which seems at first glance quite normal, but similar functionality to Google Glass should meet without looking as futuristic slant.

Above all, it is about the projection of information on the curved glass of the spectacles from the OLED display in the arm (where the battery is located) is transferred to the glass on the mirror, the more it works like a prism. For this is placed on the usual glass a second very thin, which is to be attached anywhere on the lenses.

However, the prototype, which was unveiled at CES, is still far from a market and the company has probably not interested in realizing the actual computer hardware and software itself, for a suitable partner is currently being sought.

The relative silence around Smart Glasses, after the "flop" of Google Glass, will probably be broken soon.

To achieve this performance, nearly all of the components have been revised, including command and geometry processor Level 2 cache, multimedia cores, memory controller and display engine. The transition from 28-nanometer process to structure widths of 14 nanometers will also reduce energy consumption significantly.

For Polaris-based graphics cards AMD calls using the example of the computer game "Star Wars: Battlefront" According to a consumption of 85 watts, compared to 140 watts a Nvidia graphics card with 28 nanometer-sized structures. Due to the lower energy consumption, the chips will also allow the development of "thin and light" notebooks with the graphics performance of a game console.

In the third quarter AMD had a significant decline in sales and a loss of $ 197 million reported. The division for PCs and GPUs lost due to low demand for PCs 46 percent of their revenue a. CES: Asus ZenFone zoom with triple optical zoom

Asus shows at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas currently an Android smartphone with outstanding camera. The ZenFone Zoom is the world's slimmest smartphone with triple optical zoom.

Was announced the ZenFone Zoom already last year, now it can be on the CES try. In a direct comparison of two photos the ZenFone Zoom can say quickly. Thanks to the optical zoom is possible with the Asus device a particularly detailed recording of depth.

"The 13 Megapixel make ourselves already in nonzoomed mode easily, zoom in the selected portion of the image on the screen. Ultimately we arrive but relatively quickly reach the limits of what is possible. The image details disappear in the coarse-grained to the pixel boundaries and photographed sees little of detail. That is why we shoot a second image. This time we drive the optical zoom to the full.

Here we see immediately the qualitative difference. When repeated subsequent zooming in on the touch screen, we arrive back against the fruit bowl. And lo and behold, in the supposed fruit bowl teeming with Cheese snacks. That's the great thing about the combination of sensor and optics. The quality of digital photography can be significantly increased through the improvement of these two areas.
