The Finnish Acer's website has put an end to rumors about a Windows 8 tablet in a handy format and published the product page of the device. In addition to several images of the Acer Iconia W3 is of course also learns more detailed information on the tablet itself
Acer has been based on the current trend and developed a Windows 8 tablet with comparatively small display. The Iconia W3 has a 8.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is, as already mentioned briefly equipped with Windows 8 Pro. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom processor Z2760 named Clover Trail, the 3650 still brings a memory of 2 gigabytes in addition to the Intel GMA graphics unit. The internal memory is either 32 gigabytes or 64 gigabytes used. In addition, of course, is also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a micro USB port and a HDMI output available. A 2 megapixel camera on the front completes the package.
As an external keyboard accessory is offered that is significantly larger than one already sees as the tablet itself, the whole thing looks a bit strange, but should increase productivity. The Acer Icona W3 will probably once again officially unveiled at Computex in early June and then also get the recommended retail price.
