From Toshiba now we would like to introduce you to the new 6 terabyte SATA and SAS hard drives, which originate from the MG04 series and are suitable for, among other enterprise systems.
The new Toshiba MG04 hard drives offer huge capacity for countless photos, movies, documents and general data and have the persistent write cache technology, which is designed to protect against data loss, if it even is a sudden loss of tension in the system ,In addition, all models with the Sanitize Instant Cryptographic Erase (SHE) technology are available, among other things, SAS and SATA commands is ready for use.
The new hard drive is optional for SATA 1.5Gbit / s, 3Gb / s and 6Gb / s interface and operate at a speed of 7200 revolutions per minute. The average latency for accesses is indicated by 4.17 milliseconds and the duration of data transfer rate includes 205MiB in the second. The MTTF duration is 1.4 million hours and hard drives are of course also designed for 24/7 operation, at a load of 550 terabytes per year.
