The LG V10 for several weeks now haunts already the rumor mill and was presented today as expected officially presented. It is a 5.7-inch phablet, which is equipped with a second display and a dual front camera. Points want the smartphone with a robust construction, for it shall survive drop tests without damage. On the plus side are the replaceable battery and the option to expand the memory. It is a pity that the smartphone will never find its way to Europe, although we have reached a German press release.

The LG V10 comes not only with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, but also with a second display, which LG calls "Second Screen". This is 2.1 inches tall and comes with a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels. Here, too, is an IPS display, which unfortunately is not perfect for the function. An OLED screen would be the better choice if you want to actually use it as "Always On" indicator. There notifications that time, the weather or links to apps can be displayed if you use the main screen just for other purposes. Overall a really good idea and all the more regrettable that the smartphone in Europe has no chance.
In addition to the second screen we find the dual front camera. There are two individual lenses, which should ensure better Selfies and wide-angle photos. In combination with the main camera, and the "Multi-view Recording" can be implemented to enable the recording of all cameras at the same time. These are the same 16-MP camera with f / 1.8 aperture, which we from LG G4 know. In addition, there is still a manual video mode.
The other specifications of the LG V10 remember very strongly to the LG G4. So you get a Snapdragon 808 6-core processor and 3GB of RAM, but 64 GB internal memory which can be further expanded to 2TB. The battery is still 3,000 mAh tall and is disposable. The smartphone will also be very robust but also quality. LG uses a mixture of plastic, stainless steel and silicon for a high resistance. This then is also reflected in the weight of 192 grams again. The operating system is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop it.
