Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700: Update auf Android 4.2 Jelly Bean in Arbeit

The time of waiting for the new Asus Transformer Pad Infinity tablet PC is finally over, as the new tablet computer was recently unveiled by Asus and will be in the coming days in Germany and Austria to have a price of 719 € including a docking station, and from mid-July, even without the docking station.

Asus will, accordingly, the new models TF700T-1I128A and TF700T-1B130A and TF700T-1I127A and TF700T-1B129A (without docking station) in the trade and all the new models feature a 10.1-inch Super-IPS panel with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, as well as the Nvidia Tegra 3 platform with a fast 1.6GHz quad-core processor.

Update to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean in work

As the Dutch website Tabletsmagazine.nl reported, Asus is working well in the implementation of Android 4.2 "Jelly Bean" updates for the latest Transformer Pad series of tablet PCs. Accordingly, it is also an update of Android 4.1.1 "Jelly Bean" on Android 4.2 "Jelly Bean" is possible in the coming weeks.

So far there is no official statement on this Asus. It merely stated that began the adjustments to the Transformer Pad series for the new version. The update could be expected in the 1st Quarter of 2013 already available for download.

Update 21/10/2012: According to the latest information from AndroidCentral (source 2) is now the latest update for the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T outside. As latest version is Android 4.1.1 "Jelly Bean" is available, the next update to 4.1.2 (bug fixes) is scheduled to follow shortly. According to Asus, the new version will be removed among other things a few bugs, the problems with wireless, the keyboard and the camera will eliminate.
