RuggON Rextorm: New 10.1-inch tablet PCs in robust design

From the home RuggON we would like to imagine today the new generation of "Rextorm" tablet PCs, which are designed, among other things for difficult work areas and environments and therefore to have in a robust housing will be.

The new Rextorm tablet PCs from RuggON it will be on sale in different configurations, such as the model Rextorm PX-501B, which is equipped with an Intel Core i5-5350U processor of the fifth generation. The processor uses the Intel vPro Technology and can be overclocked via Intel Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.9GHz. There is also a Intel HD 6000 graphics chipset with up to 1GHz of frequency available.

It is operated via the 10.1-inch / 25.65-centimeter touchscreen display that supports a high brightness of 1000 cd / m² and thus also in the sunlight is easily legible. Battery life is estimated at up to 6.5 hours and can be increased through the use of an optional second battery in up to 13 hours.

Other special features include a variety of optional features, including a barcode reader or a magnetic card. The case of tablet PCs has been protected by the IP54 standard against water and shocks. Also featuring are CANbus and DI / DO, for a strong integration of sensors and for monitoring. The alternatives are 4x USB, 2x serial (RS232), VGA, HDMI and Ethernet LAN.

The wireless data exchange can via WiFi / WWAN done and tracking via GPS chipset. For an excellent reception, the so-called pass-through design and the dual-antenna provides.
