Despite attempts by various companies to create new social networks, the only one that has managed to maintain its lead and expand every year has been Facebook. Many users who spend several hours a day watching the latest news from your friends, family or people you follow and the longer you spend in the social network, the company will get more revenue.

Every year, the boys from Facebook try to add new features to keep interest in the social network does not falter among his followers. The last major novelty is the service included video broadcast streaming, the Pericope style, a new service that is apparently more successful than expected.

But Facebook is not only limited to add new features but a while now is trying to facilitate access to social network users with impaired vision or hearing. iOS offers a number of solutions for people with such problems but so far, no other company had bothered to use these features to help users with problems.

As just announced, users of the Facebook application for iOS may recognize the content of the photographs of your Timeline thanks to the VoiceOver function that is integrated natively on iOS. As you can see in the video above this feature will help users with impaired vision describing the content of the photographs. In addition to describing the image we also read the accompanying text with the number I like that it has obtained and the number of times it has been shared.

This new feature is called Automatic Alternative Text and is currently only available in the US , but asserts Facebook will soon reach more countries. Once in our country, we must activate the VoiceOver feature previously located in Settings> General> Accessibility.
