From the house of PNY Technologies, today we take a look at the new "Anarchy" and "Anarchy X" memory modules that offer a little bit of extra power, in the area of high-end gaming systems.
The new memory arise from the fourth generation and is more specifically to DDR4 RAM, acting with clock frequencies up to 2800Mhz (PC4-22400). The RAM offered, among other things as a 16GB DDR4 Anarchy X-Kit, which consists of 4x4GB modules in quad-channel kit. The memory can be addressed with a voltage of 1.2 volts and a latency of CL16.
There is also support for the XMP profile and it can clock frequencies of 2800, 2666 and be selected 2400MHz. optionally, the Anarchy modules are also available in DDR3 RAM execution, the clock frequencies will be lower.
The special features of the new memory modules, includes the advanced removal of the heat, which is realized by means of an optimized heatsink. This is intended to ensure increased stability in the entire system. Depending on the model, the XLR8 heatspreader in the colors blue or red are available. As field of application, especially high-end gaming PCs are being considered, the need for a high power-consuming games.
The launch of the new memory modules will take place this December. The price of the 4x4GB (16GB) Kit, is 249 €. All other technical information, can be found in front of the datasheet to ensure compatibility.
