According to a new report by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (also known as FAZ), Apple is working to the alleged Apple Car (or iCar if you want ) in a laboratory located in the heart of Berlin. They would be part of the development team of 15 to 20 leading engineers of the German automotive industry.
The article takes the previous rumor about the much-rumored Apple vehicle, stating that it will be an electric car but will be without the autopilot because the technology required for this function is still under development.
Being always in the relationship, because of the lack of a nationwide distribution network, the Cupertino company apparently is considering a car rental service similar to the Drive-Now BMW and the European Sixt service.
