The company Micron has the new momentum of P410M SAS announced SSD drives that will be released in three versions with 100GB, 200GB and 400GB of storage space in the coming weeks to yet unspecified prices.
The new Micron P410M SAS SSD drives are equipped with a Marvell 88SS9187-BLD2 controller and provide MLC NAND flash chips in 25nm form factor. For the data transfer is a SAS 6.0Gbps interface available and the MTBF is specified with up to two million hours.
The smallest model with 100GB of storage capacity supports a read speed of up to 410MB per second and write speeds up to 235MB per second. The two larger models with 200GB/400GB space offer speeds of up to 410MB per second for read and up to 345MB per second write to the data. All new models appear in the 2.5-inch form factor.
