During today Frank Shaw, Vice President of Microsoft Corporation Communication, has provided some data to help us understand what really is selling Windows Phone.
Windows Phone has reached the 10% share of the market in a number of countries and, according to the report of IDC, has sold more than 26 countries and BlackBerry over iPhone in 7.
The achievement of the 10% that Windows Phone was eagerly awaited by Microsoft and now that has been achieved in some countries could mean a turning point for the company.
Unfortunately, Microsoft did not disclose which countries Windows Phone has reached this milestone, then we do not know whether the company is able to take over the market of a developed nation or only small emerging markets.
In any case, we can not draw definite conclusions at the moment, but we can say that Microsoft is inexorably increasing its presence in the mobile market.
