Apple receives patent for inductive docking station

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted Apple a patent for a new docking station with integrated processor on Tuesday. The device is suitable for charging smartphones and tablets and can perform other functions depending on the orientation of these devices.

To recharge his iPhone you simply have to place it on the surface. Thereafter, the docking station should be able to start synchronization, a diagnostic method and other processes.
