Phase One IQ250 camera with 50-megapixel resolution in pocket format

From the house of Phase One, we can imagine today the world's first CMOS-based medium-format camera that will go as IQ250 model at the start and has some impressive technical features.

The new Phase One IQ250 camera is equipped with a 50 megapixel CMOS sensor and can record up photos with a resolution of 8280 x 6208 pixels, all at a color depth of 14 bits per channel.The camera also covers a dynamic range of 14 stages and blend offers a light sensitivity (ISO) 100-6400, at a short exposure time of 1/10.000. The camera also have 2GB of RAM for caching of photos available and the speed is specified at 1.2 frames per second at full resolution.

On the back you will find in front of a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, via which the preview can be held and integrated Wi-Fi for networking is of course included. You can watch the preview for recording on a PC via the USB 3.0 interface. The housing has the dimensions of 44 x 33 millimeters, and is thus properly held small. The new camera is quite low, however, because the purchase price should be at the equivalent of around € 25,000.
