Google is currently working on the finishing touches for a new Nexus tablet, which is to come up with 8 inch large display. At least, reports Digitimes , citing information from Asian suppliers circles.
According to Digitimes, Google is the supposed "Nexus 8" as the successor of the Nexus 7 (2013 edition) imagine the end of April 2014. The manufacturer of the device is to be the Taiwanese company Asus, which had also been entrusted with the production of the 2012er and 2013er edition of the Nexus 7 again.

Google had presented in summer 2012 along with the first Asus Nexus 7 and replaced with the compact, powerful 7-inch tablet at a competitive price a real boom of such devices. In the summer of 2013 followed by the presentation of a successor, which bears the name Nexus 7 again, but has a much better display than the first version, and is thus also sold slightly more expensive.

Digitimes, which, it must also be mentioned, is not always correct in their reports, claims to have learned in this regard, the 2013er version of the Nexus 7 did not sell in the highly competitive market of low-priced 7-inch tablets as desired. Overall, it should have been less than 3 million units in 2013. Not least for this reason, Google would soon come up with the new Nexus 8, which no longer had to compete in the market due to its larger form factor with the cheapest tablets.
