CES: Lenovo shows modular X1 Tablet and Yoga Model


The Windows Tablet X1 series, which was introduced in 2016 in advance of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, is equipped with three expansion modules. Thus, a Real Sense 3D Camera by Intel to integrate increased from ten to 15 hours, installed a pico projector or subsequently about the battery life.

The X1 series that far from the "Carbon" -Notebookmodell inventory has been expanded in parallel also a Convertible named Thinkpad X1 Yoga. It builds 17 mm high and can be fitted with an OLED screen of  Samsung be ordered display. The most powerful configuration has an Intel Core i7, 16GB LPDDR3 RAM, a per NVME  tailed 1 TB SSD and LTE-Advanced mobile.
Even the standard notebook model Lenovo has updated. The X1 Carbon 2016 comes also with a maximum of 1 TB large NVME SSD, namely Samsung vorgestelltem in September M.2 model, and LTE-Advanced Support.
All three devices - tablet, Yoga and carbon - can also use a wireless docking station, which is connected via WiGig. It provides network port, video output, and USB ports. The used for carbon and yoga 65-watt power supply has been reduced, according to Lenovo and has now even 58 percent of the volume and 50 percent of the weight of a standard power supply.
The name used X1 Lenovo now also for a desktop computer and a monitor. The All-in-One-PC model ThinkCentre AIO X1 is based on a 23.8-inch IPS screen with anti-reflection coating and 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution. Configurations with Intel Core processors of the sixth generation and up to 16 GB DDR4 memory and 1TB of storage are on offer.
The TÜV certificate Eye Comfort Lenovo advertises the pure screen ThinkVision X1. It measures 27 inches diagonally and dissolves 3840 times 2160 pixels.
First, the new X1 models Lenovo will make the X1 Yoga available with IPS display later this month. It will be available in the US from $ 1,449. There is no information to price the OLED variant. You should start in April.
But first comes the Thinkpad X1 Tablet on the US market, namely in February at prices from 899 dollars. Initially, only the battery module for 149 dollar will be additionally available. The pico projector follows in May for $ 279 expected, the Real Sense Module at the same time for 149 dollars.
Also in February, Lenovo plans to ship the updated X1 Carbon, which will cost at least $ 1,299. In March ThinkCentre X1 AIO follow from $ 1,029 and ThinkVision X1 from 799 dollars. For international availability, Lenovo did not comment on its US news conference.
