Sony Playstation 4: Official Specifications with 8-core processor Jaguar


In the early hours of the morning, Sony has the first information to the fourth generation of the Sony Playstation console given out, which is now no longer a myth, but already appear in this year.
The new Sony PlayStation 4 has, however, not shown on the live event this morning, but was introduced only on the basis of technical innovations, with some games and information. Included in the fourth generation of the Playstation, an 8-core 64-bit x86 "Jaguar" processor developed by AMD, and an AMD Radeon graphics chipset is one of 18 "Compute Units" that support a performance with 1.84 teraflops. The hardware is complemented by 8GB of GDDR5 graphics memory, which supports a bandwidth of 176 gigabytes per second.
To replace 802.11n WLAN is available, as well as Bluetooth 2.1. Also with this is a Blu-ray drive that can read with 6-speed interfaces for HDMI, Optical and analog AV. Some specifications were allowed, however, still open, such as the internal memory will come into play. Once we have an official photo or other features for hardware available, it will be an update.
