Sony SmartWatch 2: announced new interactive Bluetooth Watch for September

Sony has the latest generation of SmartWatch announced 2 wristwatch, which is to be launched in the coming September and is equipped with many new technical highlights.

With the new Sony SmartWatch 2 watch can also be controlled calls, read emails and of course also view the time. In the new model we have built a 1.6-inch LCD touchscreen display that supports a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels. Thanks to the transflective coating the clock to be more readable even in bright sunlight.

The watch can be combined with other Android smartphones and there are two wireless technologies. Firstly, this would be the Bluetooth technology and on the other, NFC (Near Field Communication) is supported. The watch can also be used as a remote trigger for the camera to control music playback or with various apps, including on Facebook, Twitter and the Runtastic fitness app. For protection against moisture, the housing is sealed against water. At what point in September, the SmartWatch is 2 be available in stores and at what price, is not certain yet. A first demo video can be found before in this post.
