Huawei Honor 4X: Android 5.1 update will be rolled out Lollipop

The Huawei Honor 4X smartphone was sold at the factory with the Android 4.4 "KitKat" operating system and now receives the new Android 5.1 "Lollipop" operating system that many new features and apps provides. The update was initially announced for the summer and now appears with some delay to download. The new software carries the identifier CHE-L11 Firmware B120 and hardly offers visible changes. With the update, also includes improved EMUI 3.1 user interface that has been modified a little.

The update is currently not however distributed by radio or OTA, but only on the server of Huawei. In Germany, the Honor 4X currently order a price of 199 € at Amazon.de.

At this price there is a 5.5-inch HD touchscreen display, a Kirin 620 octa-core processor with eight cores, 2GB of RAM and an internal memory of 8GB which can top up via MicroSD card slot. Cameras with 5- and 13-megapixels, a dual SIM feature as well as the LTE (4G) access, are also included with.
