Carl Zeiss integrated display in normal eyeglasses

clip_image002

At the CES show Carl Zeiss glasses, which seems at first glance quite normal, but similar functionality to Google Glass should meet without looking as futuristic slant.

Above all, it is about the projection of information on the curved glass of the spectacles from the OLED display in the arm (where the battery is located) is transferred to the glass on the mirror, the more it works like a prism. For this is placed on the usual glass a second very thin, which is to be attached anywhere on the lenses.

However, the prototype, which was unveiled at CES, is still far from a market and the company has probably not interested in realizing the actual computer hardware and software itself, for a suitable partner is currently being sought.

The relative silence around Smart Glasses, after the "flop" of Google Glass, will probably be broken soon.
