The CES in Las Vegas will start tomorrow, but already start the first small press the manufacturer. The chip maker NVIDIA has this morning unveiled the new quad-core Tegra 4 chipset officially code named Wayne, and thus set the bar pretty high for the competition. Much like its predecessor, the Tegra 4 will be equipped with a fifth Compinion core, which then takes on the not so demanding tasks and thus saves power.
The Tegra 4 high-end SoC will be the world's first quad-core chip with four ARM Cortex-A15 cores and loud NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang also the fastest in the world. In addition, for the first time 72 GPU cores will be used and the course promises a decent graphics on the upcoming high-end devices with this chipset.

The chip is fabricated in a 28 nm process, and it will support LTE as well as HDR imaging. With HDR imaging can now be faster and recorded at a higher quality images directly on the hardware, video and burst shooting. The loading of web sites, unlike the Exynos 5250 dual-core processor from Samsung all go 2.6 times faster by equipping. Unfortunately it is not known which operates with clock rates of the new chip and when the first device will come with this chip.
