Last year on 27 June, Google has officially unveiled the Nexus 7 and the tablet market with a low price of 199 euros to totter brought. The unit was able to sell extremely well and is basically next to the Kindle Fire is the only competitor to the iPad. The sequel seems now to stand in the wings and could be presented at the Google I / O in May.

The Taiwanese industry publication DigiTimes has once again talked out of school and published preliminary information about the successor to the Nexus 7th The new generation of the Google tablet will also be manufactured by ASUS and of course still have a 7-inch display. This time, however, the company will rely on a FullHD resolution to differentiate itself from the competition somewhat. ASUS would thus reach a pixel density of 314 ppi and set both the Kindle Fire HD and the iPad mini in the shade.

The price will rise to the new model in the same area and it is assumed that the 16GB version will again cost between 199 euros and 249 euros. A 3G variant could then be available for 299 euros. The presentation is dated as stated on the May and this time could also be available in Germany from the beginning.
