Asus ROG Ares II graphics card with 6GB of video memory and 6600MHz announced

CES 2013 in Las Vegas has now closed its doors, but that does not prevent us to imagine a few other innovations that you can soon get in trade.

The first to use the new Asus ROG Ares II graphics card, which was presented as the new top model in the show. The Asus ROG Ares II graphics card based on the AMD Radeon HD 7970 Edition GHz and is equipped with two GPUs, and a massive 6GB of GDDR5 graphics memory.

The clock frequencies are shown with 1050MHz or 1100MHz with the boost clock technology and the graphics memory is clocked at 6600MHz (6.6GHz). There is also a 2x 384-bit interface. A price or the possible release date Asus has not yet been announced. The Ares series is, however, very expensive and will surely cost to € 1000.
