The next generation of 4K monitors is in the wings and in the coming weeks, the company Asus will launch the new PQ321Q LCD monitor on the market that supports the new 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and thus four times dissolves so high like a typical full-HD monitor.
The new Asus PQ321Q 4K monitor appears in a size of 31.5-inches and provides an IGZO WLED backlit display with white LED backlight. The panel offers a pixel density of 140ppi and can display up to 1073.7 million colors. The other technical aspects include a viewing angle of 176/176 degree horizontal / vertical, a response time of eight milliseconds and a contrast ratio of 800:1. In addition, a 10-bit RGB color depth supported.
Power consumption in operation is specified with 93 watts in standby with six watts. The alternatives are either DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI 1.4, RS-232C and a 3.5 mm jack plug available.
