The Boxee Box was the hot start-up product at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010. The set-top box has been touted as the next breakthrough in the media PC market. This also has Samsung recognized and announced to take over the company on Wednesday Boxee for 23 million euros.
Samsung itself has only this February at the CES in Las Vegas Media-/NAS-Server on their own Android -based presented: Samsung HomeSync . With a terabyte memory willHomeSync the media managers are in the living room.
The Boxee Box, which was based on the in-house and freelance multimedia software Boxee was developed in cooperation with D-Link and offered for under 230 €. At the time you read on the website of Boxee, that makes you look now on the way to Samsung.
