Huawei Technologies used in their current devices, whether P6 Ascend , Ascend MediaPad 10FHD or mate, the same processor. With the Quad-Core K3V2 the Chinese company unveiled at MWC 2012 this processor homegrown.

Now it seems time to bring a new generation into the market, and points to the Chinese insider information correctly, as it is with the K3V3 a CPU with octa-core properties in the house. Apparently the work on this processor are completed, so that a release in the second half is considered likely.

The same was Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei, already announced at CES 2013.

According to previous reports, the new K3V3 octa-core is based on ARM Cortex-A15 technology and could with the Mali-T658 GPU can be paired. Huawei also have found a way that can cool the processor at high temperatures better, which in turn longer standby times can be achieved.

Whether it will be the K3V3 a real octa-core, or rather, a 2 × 4-core solution like theSamsung Exynos 5410 is, so far is not yet clear.
