Archos 80 Xenon: 8-inch tablet with Android 4.1 stock available in June for 199 €

From the house of Archos now we would like to officially introduce the new Archos 80 Xenon tablet PC, which has already been announced for next June and go to Germany for a price of € 199.90 and in Switzerland for 249 Swiss francs at the start will.

The new Archos 80 Xenon tablet PC will be supplied with "stock" Android 4.1 "Jelly Bean" and this means in plain text, which is no more UI to use and use it with all basic functions of the operating system can. The 80-Xenon uses an 8-inch touchscreen display with IPS technology (in-plane switching), it will be a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels at content playback support.

In power one has served in a 1.2GHz quad-core processor from Qualcomm and were installed 1GB of RAM and an internal memory of 4GB. The internal memory can be increased later on the MicroSD card slot up to 64GB. Furthermore, it is with a 3G (UMTS) module for data access to the Internet and the SIM slot comes without SIM-lock so and therefore can be used with any SIM card. The exchange of data on local networks or with devices can be done via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Furthermore, it is still with a GPS chipset for position determination, a 0.3-megapixel camera on the front for video chats and a 2-megapixel camera on the back for photo and video recording.
