clip_image002We already test the simvalley AW-414.Go at IFA in Berlin and now the test product has arrived. What distinguishes the simvalley AW-414.Go SmartWatch from others? You have a SmartWatch which is 100% independent of any smartphone. For the AW-414.Go is a smartphone for the wrist.

This SmartWatch can do everything else just a smartphone - Video telephony, e-mail, GPS and Facebook Places. Other manufacturers such as Sony and Samsung need to their SmartWatch a smartphone to exploit full functionality. As the AW-414.Go is a clear advantage, because thanks to the integrated SIM card slot, you can receive calls with it. Thus, it is not as James Bond looks like, finally you have to SmartWatch near the organ of speech (mouth) hold, of course you can connect a Bluetooth headset.

The SmartWatch has a 1.5 "touch screen (4 inches 240 x 240 pixels) which is operated with pen or pencil. According to the manufacturer an AMOLED technology is used the brilliant color, rich in contrast, is supposed to be lightning fast and energy-saving. Here I must say that the display cannot always convince with its resolution there is. I'll get to later, but in a separate review.
