Android 6.0.1: Factory Images for Nexus devices available for download

Google has with  Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow provided a new version of its own operating system for the latest Nexus smartphones and tablets as Factory Images for download. In order for the changes you can manually install itself immediately. The OTA update is expected to follow in the coming days. Namely, the entire Smartphone or Tablet reset. In addition to some bug fixes and some new features were introduced.

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow innovations

Google donated Android with the latest version 6.0.1 Marshmallow many new emoji. So you can in messengers like Hangouts save eg a few words and instead use characters. In combination with the abbreviations that are now in circulation, we must then ponder any longer about what is actually really meant with the news.clip_image001

A truly meaningful change has Google the tablets donated. With Android 6.0.1 namely the lower navigation bar was restructured with on-screen buttons. The positioning of the back, home and multitasking buttons is no longer centered, but at the edges. For example, the functions for larger tablets can now easily reach with your thumbs. Back and Home are now placed on the left side, while the multi-tasking has moved to the right side. Definitely an improvement. Now only the tablets of other manufacturers would need to be supplied with updates - which will probably not happen in the near future. But the Nexus owners can rejoice after all.

Google has the "Do Not Disturb" again with Android 6.0.1 function activated. This was in the past part of the operating system, was 6.0 marshmallow then removed with Android and is now back with us. This function is useful for many users. Pure Android offers anyway hardly any additional functions because useful functions should not remove it yet.
