Not too long ago there were rumors that Sony for 2016 with the release of the same five Z6 smartphones would plan, namely Xperia Z6, Xperia Mini Z6, Xperia Z6 Ultra, Xperia Z6 Compact and Xperia Z6 Plus. Meanwhile, the Japanese company is said to have but decided to bring only two models of the Z6 series on the market in the coming year.
Sony 2016: Snapdragon 820 in focus
Which two models will be the exact, is not known, at least, the Sony Xperia Z 6 in the standard version, but should be considered certain. As can be heard beyond from Japan, the two flagship models from Sony with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 to be placed on the market, which has been recently awarded by a strong performance in AnTuTu benchmark.
In addition, Sony will put on a completely new design for its Z6 lineup, both devices to be placed with a metal housing on the market. How it looks with the other technology, for example, the display size and the corresponding resolution, unfortunately, cannot say at the moment.
However, at least to the release of the two devices a piece of displaced proceed: the first unit is expected in June 2016, the second in October 2016. A smart idea of new Sony smartphones at CES 2016 was also not planned, they say.
