Intel Core Y-series: the five new processors at CES 2013

From Intel, we can now present to you five new processors, which have been at the CES 2013 in Las Vegas.

These are the new Core Y-Series mobile processors for mobile devices, which will appear as models 2129Y Pentium, Core i3-3229Y, 3339Y Core i5, Core i5 and Core i7-3439Y 3689Y commercially. The new processors have a power consumption of 10 watts to 13 watts, each providing two cores and up to four threads.

The clock speeds run at 1.1GHz Pentium 2129Y with and reach to 2.6GHz (Turbo Boost), the Core i7-3689Y. It also supports DDR3 memory up to 1600MHz clock frequency and each is an Intel HD 4000 graphics chipset used. The vPro technology is there but only in the two most powerful models. All other technical aspects, we have asked you in the attached list together.

The technical data / specifications / data sheet of Intel Core Y series:

  • Intel Pentium 2129Y: 10 Watt TDP, 2/2 cores / threads, 1.1GHz clock speed, 2MB cache
  • Intel Core i3-3229Y: 13 watts TDP, 2/4 cores / threads, 1.4GHz clock speed, 3MB Cache
  • Intel Core i5-3339Y: 13 watts TDP, 2/4 cores / threads, 1.5GHz clock speed, 3MB cache, Turbo Boost up to 2.0GHz
