In recent weeks, the update to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean announced several times in the Android open source project already has an intermediate version listed. Now the software update for the Nexus device is opened and distributed as usual about the "over-the-air" feature, but so far only a few devices are updated.

AndroidPolice reported a few hours ago that the update with build number JDQ39 arrived at multiple users and mainly for the Galaxy Nexus (GSM version), Nexus Nexus 7 and 10 is available. The Google Nexus 4 is apparently not yet received the new Android version. The update about 47 megabytes in size and will take care of predominantly bug fixes. On Reddit for example, could be discovered that the promised fix for the Bluetooth A2DP streaming is available. Officially, there is unfortunately little information and so the update is only the notes "speed and stability improvements," stated.

Owners of the Nexus devices, the availability of the new version as usual under "Settings -> About Phone / Tablet -> System Updates" check. The distribution will take place as usual in several waves, so that not every device simultaneously receives the update. Impatient users can accelerate with a little trick, but the update procedure:

1. In the Settings -> Apps (all) -> "Google Services Framework" -> Clear data (doing so could some Google services terminate)

2. Can check> System Updates for new updates - in Settings-> About phone.

3. As long repeat until it works.
