Sony SLT-A58 SLR with 20.1 megapixel available from April 2013 for 549 €

The next digital camera from Sony, we can now present to you the new Sony SLT-A58 DSLR, which will go in the upcoming April 2013 at an exercise price of € 549 at the start.

The new Sony SLT-A58 SLR camera is equipped with important improvements in contrast to the already available SLT-A37 and SLT-A57 models, for example, offers a new Exmor APS-C HD CMOS sensor for photo and video shooting, with an effective resolution of 20.1-megapixels. For videos, the maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels in AVCHD format with 50i (fields) or 25p (frames) per second. In addition to image processing comes a BIONZ image processor, and a light sensitivity from 100 to 16,000 ISO.

Other technological features include among other things a 15-point autofocus system with lock-on mode, a continuous shooting with eight frames per second at the telephoto zoom mode and an auto-portrait framing function. Likewise present is a new OLED viewfinder that provides a wholly owned image for coverage and photos are eleven modes and 15 effects are available, and a HDR function (High Dynamic Range).

For the Sony SLT-A58 SLR converter including 35 A-mount lenses are available.
