The hobbyist from UBM TechInsights have the BlackBerry Z10 already taken in the last week for chest and broken down into its component parts. The teardown had been argued that the Canadian flagship has the one or other similarities to the Samsung Galaxy S3, but was placed first projection of material costs. In total, the components of the smartphone costs about 154 U.S. dollars.

CNN Money has a report first assesses the various components of the BlackBerry Z10 and determines the cost of display, processor, camera, memory, battery, and other components. For the 4.2-inch screen, the Canadians put $ 26.50 on the table, and the 1.5 GHz dual-core processor from Qualcomm will cost 23.50 dollars and for the two 8-megapixel cameras (front 2 megapixel rear) about $ 15 to the bill. The internal memory amounting to 16 gigabytes costs about $ 9. The remaining components such as battery, memory, and communication chips are 21 U.S. dollars. Lastly must be added the quality chassis and other components for $ 59. Overall, BlackBerry must pay for any ingredient in about 154 U.S. dollars. In such information but only the pure hardware costs are included. The company must, of course, for marketing, the development of smartphones and software and many other areas to spend money.

Compared to Apple's iPhone 5, which according to the information provided by CNN Money suggests with 139 U.S. dollars on the bill, the production of the BlackBerry smartphone is a bit more expensive. This is likely to be mainly due to the larger screen, bigger battery and double the memory. In addition, one must remember that Apple buys larger quantities and therefore can push the price to the supplier.
