Sony Laser Light Source projector uses 3LCD laser technology presented at ISE 2013

Sony has presented at ISE 2013 in Basingstoke, the new "Laser Light Source" projector to introduce the next generation in terms of projectors and brings many new features and technologies with them.

The Sony Laser Light Source projector features 3LCD laser technology as the first of its kind and it will support a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The brightness is specified at 4000 ANSI lumens and the life of the system is said to be up to 20,000 hours. The new Laser Light Source technology based on this model is no longer made of LEDs, it uses different lasers that will produce incredible image quality. In addition, the contrast and the brightness is higher than comparable models without the technology.

From what exactly the new projector will be available in Germany and at what price, is not yet known. We'll keep you up to date as ever.
