A new SMS Bug is currently undergoing the round, which can cause a loss of reception and even a complete restart in many Nexus smartphone.

The Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4 and the Nexus 5 are affected by the error and can be paralyzed by a little trick. The blogger Bogdan Alecu found out that you can force the device to reboot and loss of reception with the help of so-called flash SMS.Flash SMS messages are not traditional, but will continue to display on the screen until the user responds to the Flash SMS. Storage on the device is not carried out normally also. So it's basically the "Pop-Up" among the SMSs.

If the above-mentioned devices receive many such flash messages, the device reboots or the reception drops off dramatically. This has been shockingly, already submitted to Google, but somehow does not seem to make the mistake too seriously the software giant.
