Microsoft Hallelujah! If the information is correct that The Verge has published a few minutes ago, then Windows Phone could take a huge step forward. According to the colleagues will comply with Windows Phone 8.1 mainly two great things. First, the use of a sire-like language assistant and second, the implementation of a Notification Center.

Especially point 2 makes me happy, because always when using Windows Phone devices I've looked wistfully to Apple's iPhone or Android smartphones. As can be heard from internal Microsoft circles, Windows Phone 8.1 is already being tested on some devices "in the home". The full capabilities of Windows Phone 8.1 could be published next April at the Build Developer Conference.

As iOS or Android is the notification center will open at the bottom by a Swype from the console back. During a brief wipe from top to bottom to open a Quick Launch bar, with a long, wiping down the Notification Center will be visible.

Also "Cortana” to be introduced by Microsoft said voice assistant on Windows Phone 8.1. Similar to Google Now, Cortana aims to provide location-based memories and tips. Also interact with the voice of the new engine is possible. With these two features, the list of new features is of course not the end. As The Verge writes it will still be possible to adjust the volume for ringtones, notifications and audio Weider gifts individually. But we already know this from Android!

If these features should come with Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones with Microsoft's OS more interesting, much more interesting!
