The strong demand for the BlackBerry 10 could mark the comeback of RIM

2012 was a bad year for RIM, but finally now promises a lift. The Canadian company in fact has called a press conference for the upcoming January 30th to present the new BlackBerry 10 and possibly also the new devices.

In mid-December, the Canadian operator Rogers began to open bookings for the new BlackBerry 10; then the phone had not yet been announced and you do not even know the technical characteristics, but the operator invited interested users to subscribe to the appropriate newsletter.

The U.S. website BGR, last Thursday had the opportunity to receive information from Rogers and it is found that:

Although we can not state the total number of reservations we have received for the BlackBerry 10, we can say that the interest of customers is definitely strong and bookings increasing every day.

The strong interest by subscribers of Rogers, although the only information that you have on your BlackBerry 10 is that it will be an all-touch, it is a good sign for RIM.

The seller has a number of difficult challenges ahead and to convince users to upgrade their BlackBerry device is at the top of the list. Strong demand is clearly a positive sign for RIM, but we have to wait to see the actual numbers of sales.
