To derive the power of a smartphone, are benchmarks like pulled consulted, although the benchmark results often only partially shed light on the everyday performance. At least in the AnTuTu benchmark that could Xiaomi Mi 5 now reached a very good result, namely in combination with the built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC.
Xiaomi Mi 5: Only Apple A9 better
In AnTuTu benchmark the Xiaomi Mi 5 comes to more than 101,000 points, so this can take second place in the CPU ranking. Only the Apple A9 with over 123,000 points again better gerankt a good deal. Otherwise, the Mi 5 can be associated with the Snapdragon 820 various competitors behind.
Among the Kirin-950 CPU also from the new Huawei Mate 8, the Exynos 7420 or Apple A8X. As it stands in comparison to the Exynos 8890, is not yet known, since the CPU that will come in Samsung Galaxy S7 used, is not yet listed in AnTuTu benchmark. However, since the Galaxy S7 will also come with Snapdragon 820 on the market, the Mi 5 could be comparable performance.
Will be presented officially the Xiaomi Mi 5 in January 2016 the launch could take place in February 2016th Thus a direct duel with the Samsung Galaxy S7 would be virtually inevitable, which is expected to March / April 2016 around. How then beat the two flagship models in comparison and outside of benchmarks, should be exciting to see.
