From the house of Buffalo, we now present you the new TeraStation 5400, as the 1U rackmount solution now available for the price of € 1,129.99 respectively in Switzerland is available for 1249.99 CHF.
The new TeraStation 5400 is equipped with an Intel Atom D2700 dual-core processor with 2x 2.13GHz clock speed and offers 2GB of DDR3 RAM at. There are two Intel NICs to the course, an Active Directory support and a DFS namespace support. The system is also hot-swappable SATA hard drives, and offers connectivity options for 2x USB 2.0 and 3x USB 3.0.
As RAID 0,1,5,6,10 and JBOD configurations are possible. Overall, the system can be used up to four hard drives. With 10 licenses are also included for the NovaBACKUP Business Essentials software for data backup. The maximum number is specified with 4x 4TB hard drives (16TB).
