Nokia distributed Portico update for Lumia 920/820 and updates to Windows Phone 7.8

Nokia adopted today on the Facebook page announced that the Portico updates for devices with Windows Phone 8, that the Lumia 920 and 820, will be rolled out immediately. In addition, in the coming days, the long-awaited software update to Windows Phone 7.8 is vonstattengehen for older smartphones.

A week ago, the Finnish company has with the distribution of the Portico updates started but preferably only the updated Lumia 920 with Vodafone branding. The software update for the two smartphones based on Windows Phone 8 will be in the coming weeks successively put available. The update as usual via the "over-the-air" function and can be run directly on the device. Until the end of March then, all devices must be equipped with the new version.

In the coming days we will also begin with updating existing Windows Mobile 7.5 devices to version 7.8. The update allows among others to create a customized home screens for three live tile sizes with over 20 colors.
