Microsoft offers in some countries soon to the new 64GB edition of Surface RT, so the result will get doubled in capacity. There will also be new equipment, such as new limited editions of Touch Cover. Announcement for Microsoft Surface RT tablet PC:
From Microsoft we can give you now officially the first Windows 8 tablet PC RT introduce their own home, which will appear under the "Surface" branding, of which usually more touch-tables are available.
The new Windows 8 RT Surface tablet PC will be available in an aluminum case and because of the more lightweight design weighs less than 650 grams with it. In terms of equipment, there is an ARM processor from Nvidia, two MIMO antennas for excellent wireless reception and a 10.6-inch HD display, which has been reinforced with Gorilla glass 2.
Also still is a multi-touch keyboard and trackpad to operate with the process interfaces for HDMI, MicroSD card slot, USB 2.0 and, depending on 32GB or 64GB of storage.
Microsoft Surface RT - jailbreak tool released
For the current generation of Microsoft Surface RT tablet PCs now a new jailbreak tool has been released, which you can easily install and use, for example, to install programs without signature.

RT Microsoft Surface Tablet - manufacturing defect
As my colleagues have reported in MobileGeeks.de now, that there are some new problems and complaints about the Microsoft Surface RT tablet PCs.
Some buyers report production errors, such as the magnets which retain the cover docking station on the Tablet PC. The magnets are to be released from its bracket and there seem to have been insufficiently secured. From this "defect" seem to be affected so far more than 5,000 devices. Microsoft Surface RT Tablet crash test:
It again new videos have surfaced on the Internet, which aim to show the robustness of the new generation of Microsoft. With, amongst others is a drop test where you leave the tablet fall on a stone floor. Also follow the same two cool videos that will prove that the new tablet is stable enough so that you can even skateboarding. The bizarre video can be found below at the other photos and videos. You should try the whole home, however.
Sound problems with the Touch and Type Cover
As my colleagues at MobileGeeks.de reported now, there should be some Tablet PCs Surface Series Problems sound reproduction. The problems are caused when you use the tablet PC with a touch-and-type cover. The audio will be randomly switched on silent (mute). The support from Microsoft has already responded to this problem and offers a free exchange of Touch and Type cover. (Update 11.9.2011)
No 16GB version planned and the sham of the 32GB version:
To meet the new Microsoft Surface tablet there for about two days a great outcry in the network. Firstly, there will be no 16GB version, as the 32GB is already secretly a 16GB version. As several sources such as Chip.de reported, although is 32GB of disk space, but only if you would throw in all apps, applications and the operating system down. Update 29.10.2012 preorders and Policy: How WPArea.de reported, it should currently be a few minor problems with the tablet surface.
