App Store sales 3.5 x higher than in Google Play Store

Both Apple's App Store and the Google Play store in December 2012, recorded strong sales growth. Compared to the same month last year progressed well for both online stores up. Also compared between Q3/2012 and Q4/2012, there is a significant increase. Sales in the Google Play store could be in the Christmas quarter doubled compared to the previous quarter, when Apple went up 20 percent.

While the Play Store is growing relatively quickly, Apple can with the App Store due to the significant higher base seeing more sales. In December alone, Apple reported 2 billion downloads . Apple's sales with the App Store is 3.5 times higher than in December when Google Play Store.

Also last year, gave the holiday shopping the App Store and the store gives a significant boost. , Sales in the App Store from November 2011 to December 2011 increased by 25 percent, it was from November 2012 to December whopping 35 percent.
