Apple has in the last quarter new sales records listed, and although the share price has fallen steadily, and the analysts were disappointed with the result, the electronics company could reap as much money as never before another company. The extremely strong quarter has of course also affect the distribution market and so Apple could first take the leading position among the mobile phone manufacturers, at least in the U.S..

The market research firm Strategy Analytics could bring the basis of the latest quarterly figures learned that Apple in the fourth quarter of 2012, Samsung was the first time from the throne. Impressive is the fact that these statistics not only focused on the smartphone column, but all mobile phones sold with inclusive. Apple sells more smartphones and known only in the face of rising user that is of course not surprising. The report shows that 17.7 million Californians could bring iPhones in the last three months of the man and the woman. The iPhone 5 will certainly be responsible for the majority of units sold, but also the iPhone 4, which is available for free (with contract) is, in the U.S. continues to be very popular. By contrast, Samsung sell 16.8 million mobile phones, and are therefore somewhat less than a million under the Cupertino-people. Behind in the third position, LG is with about 4.7 million mobile phones sold. In view of the market we're talking of a share of 34 percent for the Californian company, and Samsung is just behind with 32.3 percent.
