After yesterday's failure on my part, there is at the present day back to proclaim good news. After Samsung already in Spain , South Korea and Italy has the Galaxy S2 with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, now the fitted model is replaced with the name GT-I9100G the software update. At this time, the distribution, however, has only begun in France.

In the past, the South Korean company has neglected the G variant of the two-year-old flagship on numerous occasions and have, for example, the update to Ice Cream Sandwich only delayed provided. An Android version later, the electronics company took the criticism to heart and seems the two models of the Samsung Galaxy S2 almost simultaneously populate it with Jelly Bean. In France, the owners have already received Android 4.1.2 and can benefit from the innovations. In Germany, the update will be released soon and certainly, at least, the update arrived in Europe ever.

Lars von AllAboutSamsung also reports that there have been cases where the update for the region XEF in Austria, Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, Spain, UK and Germany over KIES was available. It is thus a worthy attempt to fire up the Samsung's own software on the computer and check the unit for an update. To date there are still no reports that the Android version also available in Germany.
