The Samsung Galaxy S2 is one with 40 million copies sold, is still one of the world's most popular smartphones. It is therefore no wonder that a huge demand for the update to Android 4.1.2 is Jelly Bean and the community is getting impatient. The update could hit this month and may even bring a number of new features on the two-year-old flagship.

Our colleagues at AndroidPIT have the Samsung Galaxy S2 with a manual flash brought up to date and the Jelly Bean update installed on the device. In a nearly four-minute YouTube video shows what innovations holds the new Android version of the smartphone. Samsung has put together a comprehensive package that not only increases performance by the Project butter a lot, but already includes familiar features such as pop-Play or Stay Smart. Further, the camera settings and also extended the latest version of the TouchWiz interface is used. Google Now, an extended Notification Bar or new widgets are also included.

Overall, the South Korean company of the older device miss a retread and a lot of users have to basically buy a new smartphone, to be prepared for the new year. In the face of competition from the electronics giant would at least have a back ahead and show that the products last for an update. We can only hope that Samsung distributed the update later this month, and not as in the Ukraine in March .
