AC Schnitzer ACS4 2.8i Coupe: Tune It! Safe!Unveils concept for the Essen Motor Show

In the current Motor Show in Essen, the 8th until December 2013 runs we present to you now the latest vehicle from which the initiative "Tune It! Safe! "Is gone forth, in the form of the new police vehicle by AC Schnitzer.

AC Schnitzer has at the Essen Motor Show 2013 presented his new "AC Schnitzer ACS4 2.8i Coupe" that stands out visually among other things, by its appearance as a police vehicle and also has the corresponding functions for police operations to offer. The new car was introduced as a new concept vehicle and has also been beefed up in terms of performance.

The AC Schnitzer ACS4 2.8i Coupe based on the new BMW 428i and is equipped with a 2.0L turbo engine that delivers maximum output of 245HP and a torque of 350Nm on the road in its regular version. With numerous upgrades the performance could be drilled out to 296PS and 420Nm torque, resulting in an increase of around 51PS and 70Nm torque result. The sprint from 0-100kmh takes place in 5.7 seconds - some 0.2 seconds faster than the standard model.

Among the other new features also include a sports exhaust system made of stainless steel and with two tailpipes, and the light alloy forged wheels of type "AC Schnitzer Type VIII" which have been mounted on Hankook tires. Schnitzer has also produced a new body kit, which consists among other things of front and rear spoilers, a new diffuser and a spoiler on the roof. In terms of driving dynamics still comes a new chassis for use. A better view of the car you can also get in the attached video.
