From the house of Acer, we can imagine another model of the Aspire S7 Ultrabooks that will advance in the coming weeks in the first countries at a price of less than € 1,600, with a completely new technology in the display.
The newly introduced Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook will be equipped with a 13.3-inch multi-touch touchscreen display which supports not only the touch of your fingertips, but also a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Add to that the IGZO technology which is responsible for the high resolution and the display is protected with Gorilla Glass 2 against scratches.
In the area of performance you can expect a 1.8GHz Intel Core i7-4500U Processor Haswell series, an Intel HD 4400 graphics chipset and there are added 8GB of DDR3 memory. The memory required is a 256GB SSD hard drive available and the wireless exchange of data can be performed by means of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 + HS.
Further still there is a SD card reader for memory cards available, and a 4-cell battery for the power supply. The operating system is Windows 8.1 used. When will the new model with IGZO technology will be available in Germany, but we do not know yet.
