During the last keynote announced Apple CEO Tim Cook, that the App Store store more than 1 million apps. In this statement, Cook said, probably from the entirety of the App Store and not from a single app store for a particular country. There are developers who Apps for example, only in the USA. Others put their apps only available in Asia and still others only in Germany.
A recent analysis suggests that Apple has now also cracked the record of 1 million apps in a local App Store. So it is said that in the U.S. App Store more than one million apps are available. Apps Hopper has counted accurately and comes to 1,006,557 apps, even apps Fire comes over the 1 million.
It is further stated in the report of colleagues from MacRumors that Apple has since the existence of the App Store waved through apps 1439451. Some apps have since been deleted or moved back and made available as a completely new version. Almost half of the available apps is an iPad app before. More than 900,000 apps can be installed on the iPhone.
In May this year the mark of 50 billion app downloads has been broken since probably a few billion app downloads have been added. On 10 July 2013 Apple celebrated the 5thBirthday of the App Store .
