WD Black 2 - first dual-drive hard drive with 1TB HDD and 120GB SSD storage

For Western Digital, we can now introduce you to an interesting novelty in the field of drives and hard drives with the new WD Black 2 Dual-Drive hard drive that combines a conventional HDD hard drive and a fast SSD hard drive.

The new Western Digital Black 2 Dual-Drive Hard Drive offers 1000GB (1TB) to HDD storage for normal data and to follow 120GB of SSD storage, which can be used for games, applications or the operating system and should be executed accordingly faster.

The new hard drive is connected via a SATA 6.0Gbps interface to the system and fits into a standard 9.5 millimeter and 2.5-inch plug into it. In addition, you can use the hard drive with older SATA standard and the new model is of course compatible with operating systems from Windows XP to Windows 8.1.

The maximum read and write speeds when using the SSD hard drive with up to 140MB per second write and when given up to 350Mb per second while reading.The power consumption is up to 1.8 watts during write and read operations and 0.9 watts in standby. The noise level in operation is specified with only 21 decibels.

By the manufacturer, there is a five year warranty added and the price of the new hard drive (model number WD1001X06XDTL) is given with € 299.
