Unofficial announced successor to the Nokia N900: Neo900 Smartphone

We present to you today the new Neo900 smartphone before, which does not officially comes from Nokia but carries on where Nokia has left off with the N900 smartphone.

The new smartphone will be released in Neo900 sliding design with a hardware-based keyboard and also brings the Maemo operating system with it. The new model will be also equipped with more memory, a faster processor and 4G access, so the functions N900 successor would have a potential Nokia can bring.

The Neo900 smartphone has now gone into production and the first 200 copies are already in the works. In terms of hardware, a Texas Instruments TI OMAP 3730 ARM Cortex-A8 is single-core processor available, 1GB of RAM and it comes a 3.5-inch display for the course, which is to support a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. In addition, modules for HSPA, CDMA and LTE (4G) will be available to mobile data networks available for access.

Who would not want to rely on the Maemo operating system, which can also install other operating systems such as Debian. When are the first devices will appear in the trade, however, is still unclear.
